Legendary Musician, Ras Kimono passes on...

Legendary Reggae Musician, Ras Kimono has died. He died today after complaining of not feeling too fine.

Report has it that he was supposed to be travel to the US yesterday but started complaining of illness and was then rushed to Lagoon Hospital before he passed on.

Ras Kimono's debut album Under Pressure made a big hit in the Nigerian music industry in 1989. The hit single "Rum-Bar Stylée" dominated the music scene from 1989 to 90s.

Ras Kimono was born Ekeleke Elumelu in Delta State, Nigeria and started his music career as a student of Gbenoba Secondary School Agbor. Later he joined the legendary Jastix Reggae Ital, alongside Majek Fashek, Amos McRoy Jegg, and Black Rice Osagie.
